Bollywood superstar is currently basking in the success of his third movie of the year Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki. While the movie has received mixed reactions from the audience and the critics, the actor is being showered with love for his versatile performances throughout the year. This year has been special for his family as not only did the actor deliver three back-to-back blockbusters but even his kids announced their debut in the entertainment industry.
While his darling daughter Suhana Khan made her debut as an actress with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies alongside Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina and others, his older son Aryan Khan launched his liquor brand D'yavol and high-end streetwear brand D'yavol X. He even announced his first directorial project, reportedly titled ‘Stardom’ starring Lakshya Lalwani. Well, now in an interview, the actor revealed that it was his kids’ choice to enter the film industry. During an interaction with MBC Bollywood, the Pathaan actor spoke about the additional stress he foresees after his children became a part of the Hindi entertainment industry. He went on to reveal that he and his wife Gauri Khan have given their children the liberty to choose their career paths. Expressing his elation, Pinkvilla quoted the actor saying, “Me and Gauri, as a family, we never told them to do this or that; free to choose what they wish to. One of them chose to be an actor, my daughter. My son decided to learn direction, so both of them are in films. Talking about Stardom, the story revolves around the Hindi film industry. Aryan has penned the script alongside Bard Of Blood fame writer Bilal Siddiqui and he will be directing the series. The show is produced by SRK and Gauri Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is yet to announce his next projects.
